Now, by looking at these ‘Confidential’ reference sheets first hand, I can tell that this is ‘not’ drawn by the very man himself, Ken Sugimori. But instead by the many artists who work with him at the Pokemon Company. What they did is planned for the theme to what the Pokemon would be, which was leaked by the Chinese and European leak of being Archer/Wrestler/Siren, draw and sketch of what they would be like and act like for both game and anime before putting it as the final reference sheet. Meaning that although these reference sheets are just sketches, they could be final design that is accepted, and is ready to be drawn onto it’s final and cleaner reference sheet. Not only that, but their names ‘Robinroot’,’Panthster’ and ‘Entamaid’ are also a clue to what they would become, and these was leaked last year in 2015.

Now, I know some people would tell me that the Chinese and European leaks were just coincidental guesses, and that especially the European one lied about the announcements and the reveal of two new pokemon that were never shown, but that does not mean that they are not real. We’ve still four months and a couple more Pokemon to show before the actual game finally comes out. In fact, the Copybara and the Gorilla Pokemon, which might be linked to the Rugby Pokemon in the Chinese leak, might have some truth to it than just plain guesses. Like for example, Copybara was described of being a very unusual and strange looking shaped Pokemon. Now look at this with the Dolphin Pokemon pokejungle.net/wp-content/uplo… And these from what I’ve been told was posted on a Japanese website that is reliable with leaking CoroCoro comics. They especially showed Rowlet’s possible mid evolution, that seems to fit the similar evolution path design to Piplup-Prinplup-Empoleon’s pokejungle.net/wp-content/uplo… . At first I thought it was Rowlet, whilst the other two were pokemon yet to be revealed, until the real Rowlet was revealed, and when by chance finding this, along with these fake leaks, later realising that these leaks have their own mid evolution fakes, and at the same time found the possible final evolutions. I did a comparison and, surprise surprise it seems like a perfect match.

The fake Pokemon that you see in this link res.cloudinary.com/lmn/image/u… to where I’ve found Rowlet’s mid evolution’s full body, I didn’t personally believe them to be real. For start, Rowlet’s, Litten’s and Popplio’s looked completely wrong! Litten’s looked like a real panther inspired by a cannon, Popplio looked more like a fake final evolution of Oshawatt, and Rowlet’s look too human, rather than owl-like, like what Game Freak would normally do with designing the starters in the past. The artist that did these leaks probably did this based on the code hacking on the Japanese Pokemon website to discover the typing, like ‘Grass,Flying,Ground,Fire,Water,Fighting’. Now it would be completely odd for Rowlet to go from Grass/Flying to Grass/Ground and Litten to have no second typing at the same time , not with how the new Pokemon games have the starters always having a second typing with their final evolution. Chances are that these leaked typings are more for the unannounced Pokemon, rather than the starters themselves, mangled like that due to a complicated computer system. It might also be Game Freaks way of getting impatient fans off their trail. Another thing to note about these fakes, and how you can tell that they are fakes, is that if you look at the past starters, the Grass Types seem to be based on Prehistoric animals, Fire Types on the Chinese Zodiac and martial arts, and Water Types being based on weapons. These final evolution fakes don’t seem to fit the bill. Rowlet a hooded Assassins Creed knockoff, Litten becoming a cannon and Popplio hurling water-bombs seems very unpractical for Game Freak to think up. Whilst the possible evolution above seem to make more sense by not only fitting the jigsaw pieces surprisingly well, but also being original and unique to Game Freak’s own vision, as seen here. For example, Rowlet’s final evolution, Robinroot is inspired on the prehistoric giant eagle, Haast’s Eagle. Litten’s final evolution, Panthster is obviously inspired by the Tiger Zodiac and the Tiger Martial arts. It is also inspired by one of Ken Sugimori’s favorite anime shows, ‘Tiger Mask’, like many other pokemon who were inspired by other anime series, such as Shinx is inspired by ‘Kimba the White Lion’ and Serperior by ‘Roses of Versailles’. And finally Popplio’s final evolution, Entamaid, which for a Mermaid, you might think it’s odd for it to be inspired by a weapon. Well like the other past water starters, you just have to look at it very closely. If you look at it’s hip and tail, you might see it in the shape of a spiked club. Indicating that these Pokemon are a perfect match, as seen here.

Another thing to note is that the fake final evolution have Reference Sheets, only there are no writing, nor ‘confidential’ stamp for them. There are also some art for their Mega Evolutions to which I see them being more fake, because like what’s hinted the Chinese and European leaks, the Japanese trailer showed the trainer’s diamonds on the bracelet being used to increase the Pokemon’s ability and type in battle. There is no indication of there being Mega Stones or Mega Evolutions for this game, meaning that they could may as well be one off gimmicks for the 6th Gen, just as these diamonds are for the 7th Gen.

You’ve also come to notice, when comparing the reference sheets for the supposed final evolution with Rowlet’ Litten and Popplio, you notice that they both share the same attacks, like Rowlet fires it’s feathers like arrows, similar to how Robinroot would, using it’s feathers that have now become true arrows, being fired from it’s own bow made by it’s wing holding down it’s hood string. Litten spitting fire hairballs is carried over to Panthster, as a way of showing how tough and bad it really is. And Popplio shooting bubbles from it’s nose, would then be shot from Entermaid’s shampoo-like hair.

You also notice that in Panthster’s reference sheet, it has the sketches of Panthster lazily fast asleep whilst Ash and Pikachu look very annoyingly down at it, Rowlet sat fast asleep on it’s chest, and Popplio and the new female companion watch the kettle that they’ve placed on it’s belt to boil. Another picture shows Panthster throwing a table with the mic at Pikachu in a pro wrestling fashion. From what I could gather, Panthster could undoubtedly be Ash’s, evolving later on in the new series of Sun and Moon from Litten, and end up acting just like the disobedient Charizard in the Original series 20 years ago. The female trainer would have Popplio for being a favourite for female trainers, whilst Ash would have Rowlet and Litten, later to quickly evolve into Panthster, whilst Popplio and Rowlet prefer either not to evolve, or won’t evolve till much later. Now I know this sounds far too soon, even from this sketch when Sun and Moon hasn’t even been released yet.

Well to fully understand this, we must understand the true workings of The Pokemon Company, starting with their past works. If you would’ve looked back at the original series, midway through the 1st Gen part, you might have seen the 2nd Gen Pokemon Ho-oh, Togepi, Donphan and marill. In midway of 2nd Gen, you see the 3rd Gen Pokemon Kecleon and Blaziken. Then near part way of 3rd Gen, you begin to see 4th Gen Pokemon, before not showing any new Pokemon throughout 4th Gen at all, until the Zoroark film, showcasing the first 5th Gen Pokemon. Now, if you would’ve noticed from the first Pokemon Black and White movie, the setting itself is based on key locations in France. However the inspirational settings for the film is not the only thing the creators have come to France for, as you would finally come to see as the main region setting for the 6th Gen Pokemon game, Pokemon X and Y. You notice also that in that very game, there is an Easter egg with a traveller giving the player a Tiki statue, telling them that this statue came from a region not explored yet, thus leading to where we are now with the 7th Gen game.

Now, if we can add up the clues, such as the tiki doll, the creator’s trip to France when Black and White was just being released, and some new gen Pokemon being revealed very soon in the previous Gen anime. You begin to see that the next gen Pokemon games and anime have been on the drawing board before the last gen Pokemon game and anime was released, and thus would mean that they had a 3 year long plan to produce, scribble, discuss and create ideas for not just the new gen Pokemon game, but for the anime as well. Not to mention the extra games and/or possibly remakes of their old games. It’s like planning a box office movie through a long period of time, they don’t rush things, nor is it like snapping your fingers. The anime, like the game and movies, has to have a beginning, a middle, and an end. By now, the creators of Pokemon have all but completed the very story arc for Pokemon Sun and Moon that will soon be released to us this November, and are probably at this moment in time, working on the 8th Gen for the next 3 years or so down the line.

Another thing to note, is that I’ve seen reference sheets for Ash, Pikachu and Iris for Black and White way before the release of Pokemon Black and White. It also has the mid evolutions of Snivy and Oshawatt, to which I then see again in leaks with their final evolutions, along with Tepig’s mid and final evolutions, indicating to me that they are real and not fake as many would think of them of being. Since then, I’ve now had an eye for Pokemon’s leaks, and now with these leaks, I can finally conclude that these sheets are indeed, 90% real. with 10% meaning that they are not the final reference sheets, but the final before the final.

Please write down to what you think, I’d like to know. As for me, I personally love all three of the final evolutions, regardless to what the fans may think of it, and have high hopes to them being as real as you may think they are.
