I was talking about the Pokemon being in the wild.Pokemon that evolve by stone are never seen in the wild. I didn’t mean stone Pokemon couldn’t get Alolan forms as obviously they can and will. Thus seeing a wild Arcanine means nothing as it’s clearly a place holder rather than something actually in game.

But Raichu and Ninetales evolve using stones, so why did they get new Alolan forms?

Oh ok, that’s perfectly fine. XY seemed a little lackluster compared to what BW gave us in my opinion, but still a great game.

The next update (CoroCoro in September) will reveal the mid evolution for the starters and Rockruff’s evolution.

The next update on Pokemon Sun and Moon will reveal more new Pokemon, plus more Alolan forms, plus a few new Mega Evolutions, plus Mega Greninja (Ash-Greninja), plus Alolan forms of Growlithe and Arcanine, plus new evolutions and pre-evolutions of available Pokemon of previous generations, plus the Alola Guardian of Akala Island, plus evolutions of starter Pokemon, plus Marshadow and Gigareki.
