kinda random but, doesn't sawsbuck and deerling have 4 different formes? mabey its an indication that the seasonal change will still be in effect. i dont know, just a thought. also, what if chespin is a grass and ground type? he does have the indication of being mole like.(foot claws, wide arms) it almost reminds me of a drilbur.

Hearing that the legendaries could be based off Norse Mythology (meaning the games are European not just French) is Very exciting. It's also interesting Norse is North Germanic and the three staters seem Heavily influenced by Grimm's Fairy Tales (The Brothers Grimm being German themselves. Froakie seems to be based off the "Frog Prince/King" (Froaking sounds awesome). Chespin based on 'Hans the Hedgehog' and Fennekin off the various mischievous Fox stories by the Grimm's. Having Pokemon themed after the many stories, legends, mythologies, and ancient/medieval history from Europe could be amazing!

I think the DNA theorie is more likely. You can even see something like a DNA strand on the Coro Coro leaks (look at the titles). :)
The norse mythology theory is also viable in my opinion, but I somehow doubt it.

To be fair though, you can hardly say the water attack used on Pansear sounds like a super effective sound. I'm not sure the sounds are anything to go by here. That and the whole dark/psy/fight fakemons were all based on the fact that Masuda had said this was something he had experimented with in the past. They're lies built on truth.

I doubt they'd go this cliche fakemon psy/fight/dark way xD

Anyhow, notice how the supposed "night slash" makes a neutral hit sound instead of SE.
y guess then is that its either poison or a steel attack..

Btw, I believe that the antlers represent the DNA bases A C T G.
