They definitely could have done what they did for ORAS and just release the titles and some pictures of Groudon and Kyogre in water and wait for a few months before they release anything else. I dont think anyone was expecting Sinnoh this year as it wouldnt make sense to release Crown Tundra and then Sinnoh but to claim “huge news on such a big project” that no one could care less about is upsetting

Main series games are literally selling the best they have in 20 years. They’re lacking in content compared to old iterations, but they’re no worse for that wear.
