Its sort of hard to explain if you dont watch the anime. But in the Team Flare arc, Lysandre was able to mind control a second Zygarde and it created these weird thorn like plants. Those plants have red cores, but they can’t be seen by the naked eye or regular Pokemon. It turns out only Ash’s Greninja and Ash (if in Ash-Greninja form) can see/feel them.

That’s opens up a ton of plot holes… and how is it supposed to help Zygarde? I mean ithe can’t do its job now without help? Sometimes I wonder what Arceus is actually doing during these types of fiascos, like I feel like he kinda looks on like one looks at an ant farm. Going to have to watch the last few episodes of the season.
