yeah a rebooted pokemon game cnan work, look at the remakes and some can say pokemon had a soft reboot with the 4th /5th gen. but there villians seem to be more of the same really.

I feel the same. I have nothing against the option to have straight hair but I’d greatly appreciate hairstyles that are representative of different hair textures.

I for one would really love to see dreadlocs as a style seeing as I have them lol! Also, my dream of making a Bob Marley pokemon trainer would be fulfilled!

Their stances have seemingly changed then as they have openly stated that for the BOTW and the next Mario they are bucking series conventions and trends and essentially going back to basics to create something new.

If they are willing to do that with two of their longest running and most storied franchises I don’t see them not giving pokemon the same treatment. But in all honesty it’s not really that deep. I’d appreciate a really big mix up after playing the same formula (broken or not) for 20 years. Others wouldn’t.
I just don’t want gamefreak to be tied down to tradition and convention because fans fear a big change
