The ones who have it in Japan were the beta testers in Japan, also WSJ is saying this, not Niantic. Unless Niantic are saying it, I wouldn’t believe a word of this otherwise because of Niantic saying it could take a week to work on the servers before thinking about continuing the release.

If they could work on making it compatible with all smartphones that actually meet the specs like they can apparently do with ingress, then I’ll be happy about this.
