Possibly, to appeal to a more feminine audience (not saying that they are girly, but they are centered more towards females, just like Lucario, Machamp, and other muscular Pokemon are centered more towards males). I’m not being sexist, I promise.

I’m not expecting Megas or new pokemon at all.
That is insanely unlikely because then they will have to reveal a new game.
I’m expecting new pokemon and Megas announced for the game, but only pokemon that are in ORAS and before.
Maybe Gallade and Gardevoir and their Megas?

Apparently Heavy thinks that Mega Machamp will be revealed. Now, let’s be clear that Heavy has got some theories spot on in some situations. Others (such as Pokemon with Evolutionary Stones not being able to Mega Evolve) have not been so spot on.

Personally, I think it will be a disappointment as usual. We might get 1 or 2 more playable characters revealed and a new stage. It’s not in my nature to be a pessimist, but looking back on previous announcements, such as the one that was supposed to be GROUNDBREAKING, I don’t expect much.
