Guys, regargind the event legendaries, a thing interesting to note is that while Volcanion and Hoopa have supposed catch rates of 3, the normal for Mythical Pokémon, Diancie’s catch rate is 30, meaning they aren’t a trio, it that Serebii image is legit. I heard the catch rate of 30 is the common for mascots, but only Dialga and Palkia actually have this rate. Anyway, per that image going around, Diancie has the necessary type to fit into the messenger squirell, as Zygarde resists Rock and is weak to Fairy.

Furthermore, “Diancie” is spelt with seven Roman letters, just like Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde, and, while I would like for Pokémon Z to be paired with W, “D” is the first letter in “dimension”, so, Pokémon Z and D coming, or just Pokémon D with no Z.

Quick design guess: A squirell that touches its tail on its head forming a “D”, more visible when it is on vertical, like, climbing a tree.

Alternatively, there’s a theory I found on vp. Look at the picture:
