Honestly, a lot of these thoughts on these pokes can be dismissed. The entire game is based off of a European environment, hence the Eiffel tower-esk building in the trailer.
The Legendaries are possibly based off of Nordic Mythology and the watchers over each realm, The Eagle of Asgard, The 4 stags of Midgard, and the Serpent of Niflheim. And each game coincides with it's game, the Y axis, pretty straight forward, the X axis, simple enough, and the Z axis, depth. With the journey into the 3rd dimension it makes more sense than genetic structure. With the EAgle being YVeltal, the FOUR stags being Xerneas, and his set of 4 antlers on each side of his head, and the final serpentine creature that will be Z, it almost makes too much sense.
Look up the story of Yggdrasil. It all just meshes together so smoothly.
As for typings that's still yet to be known and only to be speculated. I'd like to see a fire/dark legendary, however that encourage levitate, and yea, that's not happening on a legendary. Xerneas has too many possibilities. However, get the whole gene idea out of your head. Just because there was no 3rd gen V game doesn't mean there won't be one when it comes to the VI. Well that's all I wanted to say, hopefully I changed a few minds, my point either way is, don't believe any of this shit. Chances are it's fake.

I didn't believe him for one simple reason. There was no reason for a random Spanish Pokémon Fansite owner to have an unreleased Japanese copy of a game from a very secretive small developer in Japan. GameFreak stays small for a reason, to have utter control over their product. Even If I went back in time, I'd probably doubt him again.
Shows what I know lol

In reply to <a href="https://pokejungle.net/2013/01/22/rumours-predicament/#comment-51435">Roy_Vos</a>.

-164 Pokémon during the main game’s Pokédex. Total of 813. 3 secret, #810-813.

PLAUSIBLE.
This is kind of a surprise to me, as I was thinking they'd follow the pattern and have this gen only have ~100 Pokemon. However, they did say they've been working on this game for 7 years, so it is possible.

-Pokémon #810, star of movie along with Genesect. Zzaxis, Psychic/Electric type, based on Higgs Boson. Special ability creates Trick Room.

VERY UNLIKELY.
...Based on Higgs Boson?! XD I'm sorry but this one seems a little too unbelievable. Plus, them showing off the third of the "Version mascot Trio" before they've milked the first two smacks me as strange.

-Gym Leaders of Poison, Steel, Fighting, Ground.

VERY PLAUSIBLE.
If we follow the same pattern of 8 gym leaders out of 17 types, each type has about a 50/50 chance of blindly being picked. Fighting seems to crop up constantly, along with Rock/Ground, so I definitely wouldn't be surprised.

-Non-linear gameplay path differing by version. Begin in same town but follow different route to the end.

PLAUSIBLE.
Bit of an inconsistency with the terminology, since non-linear gameplay means there isn't a 'route' to follow. I'll assume they just meant that the two routes differ. Well, Black and White started us on the whole "areas different by version" thing, so this is the next logial step.

-Major area, new Cycling Road. Based on Tour de France.

UNLIKELY.
Now, while this would be a fun idea, the problem is it's too iconic. Although each region in Pokemon has been based in a real life region, they've carefully avoided any super noticeable icons. For instance, Unova didn't have a Statue of Liberty. None of the previous gens had anything like, say, Hachiko. I'd put the Tour de France in the same 'iconic' category. lus, we don't even know if we HAVE the bike, seeing as we saw roller blades in the trailer.

-Villain team, “Team Helix.” Military themed. Leader is female, Colonel Zenia. Wish to capture Xerneas/Yveltal to make their Pokémon stronger to conquer region.

POSSIBLE.
Honestly, it would be a huge step forward for the Pokemon franchise as a whole to have a female leader. All of the teams in the main series have had male leaders, although they usually have a token female somewhere nearby. for instance, both Aqua and Magma were run by men, but they both had a female Admin.

Zenia strikes me as a weird name, though. In addition to the 'Z', which I find suspicious, a Zenia is a bean plant with a pretty flower... the kind of name I'd expect of a Professor.

Capturing Legendaries to make their own Pokemon stronger also seems a little off to me. If you're after strength, why not use the legendaries themselves? Do they function as an amplifier for common Pokemon? That would be weird...

-Professor is also female, Professor Yew. Dr. Eibe in Japanese. Very European in appearance.

VERY UNLIKELY.
Professor Juniper (Araragi) was named Yew in Japanese. The fact that they changed her name for English-speaking audiences tells me they don't like the idea of the name, possible because it's a homophone of 'you'. Also, Eibe does in fact mean Yew... but in GERMAN. Araragi is the term in Japanese.

-Xerneas, Normal type, found at Origin Tree. Yveltal, Flying type, found at Needle of the Sky. Both have ability, “Gene Donor,” changes type to one of their moves. Between them, all TMs can be learned.

POSSIBLE.
Honestly, I don't believe it, but I've heard so many stinkin' rumours about these two I can't really disallow anything. "Origin Tree" simply smacks of Yggdrasil, but it's defnitely possible the games will pull from that.

-Divene Region, very, very massive. Map is confusing.

UNLIKELY^........................^PROBABLE.
I can't find anything European-based in the name Divene except for the closeness to Divine. I severely doubt they'd name a region something that close to that particular word on accident, so if it's true then we're looking at a bunch of mythology references coming our way... which I don't think they'd do.

As for a very, very massive region... well, they do have all that lovely capability in the 3DS they said they'd be using. As for a 'confusing' map, this kind of goes back to the 'non-linear' point up above. If they did in fact mean it's non-linear gameplay, then I could definitely see that being confusing to long-time fans.

For instance, imagine if all the HM blocks/storyline blocks in Kanto were gone. You could walk all the way to Fuchsia City without challenging a single Gym. The gyms themselves scaled to how many badges you had. So if you fought Erika first, her team would be something like 2 Lv. 12 Bellsprouts. Thinking this way, it would be easy to get confused, and Kanto's not all that big. (I chose it because of our available regions it's the least linear, IMO.) Confusing is a definite possibility. And (un)fortunately, we're getting a simultaneous release, which means we won't have all those helpful Japanese people who've already played the whole thing by the time we get it, so getting stuck is actually a genuine threat.

Basically, Melkor, owner of Spanish Pokémon fansite Pokéxperto claimed to somehow have a copy of black/white weeks before Japanese release. He then got a friend (I believe) to draw similar images to the ones in his game, revealing new Pokémon to us. I didn't believe it for one second, it was all too fishy. I mean, why would some Spanish guy randomly have a Japanese copy of an unreleased game and be feeding info to sites like us?

Basically, Melkor, owner of Spanish Pokémon fansite Pokéxperto claimed to somehow have a copy of black/white weeks before Japanese release. He then got a friend (I believe) to draw similar images to the ones in his game, revealing new Pokémon to us. I didn’t believe it for one second, it was all too fishy. I mean, why would some Spanish guy randomly have a Japanese copy of an unreleased game and be feeding info to sites like us?
