You’re right, it bears a striking resemblance to Versailles (the curved windows, the two rows of statues, etc). Since I’m really hoping that this game is more European based than just France specifically I would like to point out it also looks very similar to Chatsworth Manor http://uspace.shef.ac.uk/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/38-18702-16941/chatsworth2.jpg
and Buckingham Palace http://www.globeimages.net/data/media/210/london__buckingham_palace.jpg

It’s interesting how many people seem to think Xerneas is going to have steel in it. I have a feeling this is a subconscious decision caused by existing steel Pokémon having a similar colour scheme (DIalga, Cobalion).
Given the scene it’s shown in, and the whole concept of life (which there seems to be a lot of clues), I’d hazard a guess that it’d be two of these three: Grass/Water/Psychic.
Also a lot of people seem to think that Yveltal will have fire in it simply because it’s red. The scene it’s shown in doesn’t really have much of a fire theme. Since it seems to be based on death, Dark/Flying seems most likely. Perhaps Ghost instead of dark, but I’m still guessing the former.

In reply to Jandro. Initially I thought so too but Dae convinced me otherwise. If you resize the existing shot to the size of the one on the magazine, you can tell they'e the exact same image. When it gets smaller its harder to define some features and it makes it look like night.

I wouldn’t say that the screenshot in the Xerneas page doesn’t look like night. If you look on the official Pokemon website, it’s the exact same picture. It also looks much darker than the one on the trailer and there are no clouds. It looks like dawn or it’s barely about to be night

Speculation thread/post I hear you cry? Hmmm…there’s not a huge amount left we can speculate on without completely making stuff up. We’re open to ideas though.

And there really hasn’t been any news, in any form. 😉

So there hasn’t been talk about the new games since Friday. Not in any website. I expected at least a speculation thread here, or something in Serebii, but nothing. What’s happening? I have a feeling Nintendo is telling all those popular sites to shut up about anything they hear.
