Comments on: Dae asks: Favorite Soundtrack

Maybe it’s quite weird for everyone else, but I find Ice Cave theme is quite dark and I like it. I’m trying to cover it with my band, and it’s perfect since the bass part and the riff part are badass 😀 I want to cover some other themes but I still don’t know which ones that will fit to band instruments :S

I like the original one more than the remake one cause they toned it down in HG/SS..

I loved the creepiness of the lavender town soundtrack of red and green, especially the first 150 copies of the game, causing headaches when heard through amplifiyers such as headphones and when children listen to it. I also love the pokemon league iris battle music in B&W2

The theme in B/W that plays when a gym leader is on the ropes stunned me the first time I came across it. I’m like, “Hey, wait. The music just changed. Oh my god, its the main theme song. THIS IS AWESOME!” Then, I let the game run a bit to soak up the rush of nostalgia. Its like the perfect triumphant theme song of my childhood. It sent chills down my spine. I love it.

The Undella Town theme (when it isn’t summer) is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard in a Pokemon game. It’s easily my favorite.
