Corless seemed like too direct a translation from “colorless,” but Colress is just an awkward name. I’ll still picture him with a dapper English accent, and I guess that makes it slightly more tolerable.

Not gonna lie, when I hear “Colress”, I think “walrus”. However, I do find it to be more legitimate than Colress.

Like Achroma isn’t just achromatic without the suffix..

Achroma sounds weirder as a name than Corless to me… you sure its not just the fact you have known it for months now?

Not sure what to think of the trailer one. I mean if Im not mistaken, Corless was not even on the press site itself, but rather as the name of the file holding a picture of the character that was on the site.
Colress sounds like the typo to me though. Corless sounds like a cool made up name, while Colress sounds like its not an english name. idk.

They should have just kept the name Achroma.
Corless/Colress seems lazy. I guess it’s an anagram, but it just looks more like a misspelling of the word colorless.
Plus, no one had any tough times pronouncing Achroma…

Oh, English language, you so silly, with your multiple ways to pronounce vowels.

I prefer “Colress” to “Corless” by quite a lot. I still prefer Achroma though.

In reply to Justin. Well, we discussed that too and it just depends on how you pronunciate corless. If you say it like core-less, it is indeed easier, but I pronounce it with the sharp o like nod. And if you roll that off your tongue, it sounds more like colourless, but the word itself looks less like it.
