Meh, video game reviewers are always so biased anyways, they have no idea what fun is at all unless it’s a Call of Duty clone or anything that has a fancy M on the corner of the box

I have a hard time buy spin-off games ever since I bought pokemon snap (I was bored of it after the first day sadly). I hope they come out with other spin-offs that are more appealing for higher age groups (like Nabunaga’s Ambition probably).

I bought the first Pokepark only to play as Pikachu, and the other Pokemon in the attractions. It was a pretty good game overall, but recently after giving it another go it was just too boring for me. I didn’t feel like doing anything in it anymore and it just seemed useless to me. After reading these reviews I guess I won’t buy Pokepark 2 now, I was thinking it might have some change in it, but it seems like it doesn’t. Oh well.

I played the first one….but I think the only reason I really wanted to get it was a chance to play as my favorite Pokemon. But that was only in mini games. Not gonna pick this one up, the first one just sits around..haven’t touched it since I beat it.

Strangely enough it also reminded me of Hey You Pikachu! I adored that game when I was little which also probably compelled me to buy it in the first place…lol.

I played the first one, and it was fun while I played it. But unfortunately once you’ve completed the main story, you kinda don’t feel like playing anymore (or at most only once in a rare while if you want to play around with the attractions to beat a high score or something).

I want to want to get this game because the first game was fun during the story, but I’m not sure if I should spend my money on this game if I’m just going to play it for a week or so and then get sick of it like the first one. And especially since now you can only use Pikachu and the Unova starters on the attractions, which there are only 4 of now, instead of 15 of your befriended Pokemon (25 in Bulbasaur’s Daring Dash) in addition to Pikachu in the old attractions, which there were 14 of in the first game.

If they made a game that focused on the battling parts of this game and expanded a little more so that you could use a full party of Pokemon, each with four moves, and make it almost like having a Pokemon battle in the anime using the dodging and attack-aiming aspects this game has, I think it would be A LOT better, and I’m sure many more people would find it interesting.

The battles do look interesting in this game, especially since you can at least use befriended Pokemon there, and I don’t think the story seems too bad, but with the decrease in playable Pokemon at attractions, as well as a decrease in attractions to play at all, I’m not 100% convinced I’ll buy it. I guess my best bet would be to try it out first at Nintendo World and see how it feels first, but that’s just me.

I never played the original PokePark game, and this one doesn’t seem that much more interesting. I don’t think I’m going to get it, even though it would give me a reason to dust off my Wii…
