I personally enjoy almost all Pokémon designs as well, but obviously everyone has their own opinion xD

I haven’t been here for like a year when an article was talking about how obviously disgusting and ugly some pokemon are, which for me, who thinks all of them are at least interesting and overall way more original and balanced than any other monster franchise out there, essentially felt like a personal insult, even more so when this is supposed to be a pokemon fansite, you know.

But I had fun quite some fun here before that.

I just want to say (at least ppl running the fansite) any pokemon fan that considers some of the designs straight forward ugly without even thinking about it from the moment they saw them:
Go look at it’s sugimori art or other awesome quality art of them. Actually LOOK at it. Or god forbid actually try using it, but caution it might grow on you too much if you do that xDD.

For example, the article says Tepig turns ugly.

What’s Pokemon without a little challenge and fun now and then. Even if Smuglord was a Grass/Dragon, it is 4X to ice and if Samurott was a Water/Fighting, it would most certainly know Ice Punch or a variant…?

The pay is about the same as what I’m getting now in Korean currency (a tad less after the exchange rate), but my apartment and utilities are paid for. Also I’ll be travelling 🙂 Totally worth it.

A dragon starter?! You’re giving a 10-year old kid with only some small battle experience a tiny little snake that turns into a rampaging, violent, destroy-everything-in-my-sight hydra?
You have to first humiliate a trainer that is seen as the best in the world, yet easily defeated to gain permission to train them. Else the whole Pokémon world will be crowded by those monsters, as every kid receives one as a starter.
