I am guessing that some dude groped a tropius, and that’s how he got his last name. It’s strange… the people are good at naming pokemon, but people… seriously? Natural? Cilan? Brock?

Or neither. If Zoroark was in the form of a female human, the human father probably wouldn’t have ever known “she” was a Pokémon. Especially if Zoroark turned into a highly attractive female human. 😉

He actually created what is now known as the Bauhaus, a school in Germany that ironically didn’t have an architecture department when first built. At this point, I’m assuming that N is adopted. Therefore he received the surname “Harmonia” from Ghetsis, and “Gropius” is his birth surname. All conjecture on my part, of course.
