In reply to miJ. THIS! It's one of my biggest complaints with the design of the 3DS. I think they whole two-tone shell thing, especially with the blue one, makes them look really cheap and crappy.

why can’t they stick with one solid color? why the 2-tone shells? sure i have a red and black dsi xl, but it’s a mario one! lol
