For those of us that maybe get into a community for a while, and then forget for like half a year, yes.
Just looking around though, heaps of people don't have full-health Pokemon, so I guess it's just a really neat way of seeing their post rate? :] Cleverrr.

Also I have to say I’m not really a fan of these things since they only ever seem to encourage spam. You would never need to post as often as the ranks usually require, so end up posting for the sake of it.. but nice effort nonetheless!
