As for the other news, I quite like the new character designs. I particularly like the character-art perspective for the conversation with (who may be) the rival. It brings to mind the Persona series of games, which I personally love, so I’m quite excited about the style similarities.
Also, in the rollercoaster scene, there is a figure (who I presume to be a woman) is quite characteristic clothing in the top left corner. If you notice, there is a gateway to the rollercoaster track to the side of this woman. Now, from here, I’d suggest that if any of these scenes was displaying a Gym, this would be it. The distinctive appearance, and her position on a purple shape brings to mind a gym, where the badge design usually appears somewhere in the gym. From the atmosphere, I’d guess at it being a Dark, Ghost, or possibly Poison Gym, if it is a gym at all.
