Next Month’s CoroCoro to Reveal New Game!

This month’s CoroCoro issue, along with containing the July 14th movie debut date, also tells us that the next issue will reveal the first scoop on a new Pokemon game! It says that it will be the world premier for the information. During the BW launch, many ‘CoroCoro Scoops’ actually ended up being revealed through other means first, such as being previewed on morning show Oha! Suta, so whether or not we actually first hear about this new game from CoroCoro remains to be seen.

UPD: Jump Festa announcement to be movie-related?

A teaser recently appeared on the official Japanese Pokemon site telling viewers to watch for an announcement about the movie ‘Kyurem and the Sacred Swordsman’ on Saturday, December 17th. This also coincides with the expected release of new information from the Pokemon booth at Jump Festa. Could we just be getting movie information? Keldeo reveal? Boo

Since we’re less than a week away, I felt like this could be the perfect time to discuss (in the comments!) what we are HOPING from the announcement or what might actually be announced. Ruby/Sapphire remakes? Doubtful… CoroCoro leaks should also be dropping soon so check back often to see if new information has come from them!

UPD: Movie will debut July 14th, 2012 in Japanese theaters!

UPD: PokéPark 2: Beyond the World

PokéPark 2 has been announced! This new game, a sequel to the ‘Pikachu’s Adventure’ title that came out previously, will be released on the Wii and feature multiplayer games along with single player challenges. So far not much is known about it The ‘Park series is always for 6-12 year olds though, so I’ll be skipping this one (but then again, I don’t have a Wii anyways!). You can give your opinions in the comments!

The Beyond the World subtitle makes me think that there MAY be a possibility for some Black/White connection features… but who knows… Could just be inclusion of Gen V pkmn. UPD: Cover art revealed at Nintendo’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference.

ps- Mewtwo event also confirmed for Japanese BW games, starts September 26th and lasts until October 31st. I’ve always loved Mewtwo, so I’ll definitely be downloading this purple powerhouse.

Movie Reshiram and Zekrom Details!

Hey, this is NL(I’m alive )! Corocoro leaks have risen with details on the Reshiram and Zekrom available for download at theaters for Victini and the Black Hero and Victini and The White Hero!

Mist and Haze are moves that Reshiram and Zekrom cannot learn normally. I think it’s not that good, Haze and Mist aren’t really the best moves. They are there because of the Japanese names (Black Fog and White Fog).I guess Haze is alright, I don’t think Mist will be any use though… What do you guys think? Good or Bad?

December CoroCoro Leak

Thanks for the heads up Penguin and thanks to Pocket Monsters for posting the images. We have some new Sugimori art to look at this morning! I think one of the pokemon that actually stood out to me was Muurando (the dog) because of its intense expression. In the game it seems much more docile. Thoughts on these new ones? Check out the pictures in the spoiler!
