As Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are set two years after Pokemon Black and White, the games features some returning leaders while also introducing some new ones. Gym leaders that have not had official artwork released will use Black and White’s official artwork!

The first gym leader you will face is Cheren. In the two year time skip between BW and BW2, he has succeeded Lenora as the Normal-type gym leader in the Unova Region. Located in the back of the trainer school, his gym is rather simple as you only have to fight two trainers before you are able to challenge him.

Elesa is still a Gym Leader in the Unova region, but in the 2 years since Black and White she’s changed her outfit, her hair, and has moved her gym to a whole new building which features a runway fashion show. To challenge her you must strut your stuff down the catwalk and battle her model friends along the way. Elesa will be at the very end of the catwalk, fierce as ever, ready for your challenge!

Despite the 2 year time skip, Skyla remains one of the Unova Region’s Gym Leaders. Although her clothes remain the same, her gym has now gotten a complete makeover! It now features a rather simple maze with a big turbine fan in the back of the gym. Every few seconds it will blow a powerful gust of wind that, if you don’t take cover behind a barrier, will blow you back. If you’re able to make it through the maze while dodging all the of wind, Skyla will be at the end ready to battle!

Drayden is now the gym leader for Opelucid City in both Black 2 and White 2. His gym, like all the others you have seen before hand, has been redesigned. It how features two gigantic dragon statues. You “control” one of the statues movements as you battle trainers and move up from the other statue’s tail, to its feet, to its legs, and finally, to its head; where Drayden awaits your challenge.

Marlon is the final gym leader you will face in the Unova Region. Residing in Humilau City, he appropriately focuses on Water-types. His gym is a maze of docks, lily pads, and, of course, trainers. To navigate through the maze simply jump onto the lily pads in the direction you want to head in. Once you make your way to the end of the maze, Marlon will be there ready to battle!
