  1. This is continuing Poekoko's series, My Top 10 Favorite _____! What's yours? We're gonna alternate making them. So anyway, Let's get into the Halloween mood with MY TOP 10 FAVORITE SPOOPY POKEMON! (Pls don't judge my writing skills. I'm good at writing, but this is informal so I'm writing how I talk.) 10. Shedinja At one point in time, Shedinja was my favorite Pokemon. It's ability is really fun to use and strategize with. Also it can absorb your soul into it's back... which faces the trainer.... so.... 9. Jellicent (Male) Jellicent brings the legend of the Kraken into Pokemon, The fate of the ships and crew that wander into Jellicent's habitat: all sunken, all lost, all vanished. Yeah. The reason I like Male Jellicent more though is because he's literally Pringles Man. So yeah, his design and Pokedex entry. Also the shiny is BEAUTIFUL. 8. Mismagius Its cries sound like incantations. Those hearing it are tormented by headaches and hallucinations. This one genuinely makes me uncomfortable. Headaches are painful. I get them really often. They're usually short, but painful still. A Pokemon that randomly gives people headaches would be disturbing, to say the least. You'd just be walking through the woods and this thing will give you pain for the heck of it. Geez. 7. Banette A doll that became a Pokémon over its grudge from being junked. It seeks the child that disowned it. Ok. Think about the ages of kids who play with dolls. 1-6 right? Yeah okay, it looks for a little kid and it wants to torment its soul or worse, I assume. That's a lot for a child to handle. 6. Phantump Yet another Pokemon involving dead things. And kids. According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest. So yeah. They literally mentioned dead kids in this one. It's not a scary Pokemon, in fact, it's really cute, it's just that the dex entry really gets you into the Halloween SPIRIT! 5. Drifloon I'm a little kid and I'm walking through a park and I'm all like, "Oh yeah (Mr. Krabs). I'm gonna take this balloon! Lalalalala-wait.... what's going on.... MOMMMMMMMYYYY!!!!!" Why Drifloon? Why? 4. Lampent The spirits it absorbs fuel its baleful fire. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on. 3. Cacturne Packs of them follow travelers through the desert until the travelers can no longer move. Oooooh. Mysteeeerious... No. Not mysterious. Why would something like Cacturne follow traveller's in a desert. 1) Desert traveller's get weak, so they will not fight back. Smart. 2) In the desert, no one can hear you scream. One might say, "Lampent's dex entry is definitely darker than Cacturne's," but I like cacti. Don't judge. 2. Litwik Litwik's dex entry is pretty weird, considering it's so cute, but still want's to eat your soul. But I've recently developed a liking to this Pokemon's design, Probably because it looks like an emo teen like me Mostly because of how cute, but menacing it is. 1. Gorebyss Although Gorebyss is the very picture of elegance and beauty while swimming, it is also cruel. When it spots prey, this Pokémon inserts its thin mouth into the prey's body and drains the prey of its body fluids. Gorebyss first on this list because it represents deep sea creatures really well, beautiful, but deadly. I love the ocean and deep sea creatures fascinate me. I also love when GameFreak does Pokemon that stay true to real life creatures. This Pokemon is both. So yeah, What are yours? Sprites: Sprites Courtesy of PokemonDB. Sprites are from the first games in which they appeared.
