What pokemon do you feel gets forgotten a lot? I put my top 5 above in sprite form. Probably the most apt to be forgotten come from the first 3 generations because DPPt and BW are still fresh on our minds. I want to hear in the comments what pokemon you think get forgotten a lot!

In case you don’t read IGN, they’ve been doing a ‘Top 100 Pokémon‘ countdown that was decided by site viewers who voted for the better ‘mon when presented with two. The countdown has finally finished and I thought I’d present the top 10 so that we could discuss it on our own:
Generation I had 6 out of 10, Generation II had 2, Generation III had 1, Generation IV had 0, and Generation V had 1. Seems like the voters were mostly older gamers who probably weren’t familiar with the newer pokemon. I don’t feel that Dragonite and Zapdos are particularly cool myself, but you, of course, may disagree :p

Some fun changes are taking place over here at PJN which let our commentors do MORE with each other than just discuss back and forth. I wanted to have a site that allowed a lot more user interaction and everything. So this is the first step towards that realization!
Banner will get done tomorrow. Few other kinks to work out. Too tired to go on x_x; I do HIGHLY recommend you REGISTER if you want to be a part of our site. You all may remember the Japanese even that allowed players to download a “Mystery Egg” which would hatch into one of three pokemon: Ash’s Pidove, Cilan’s Pansage, or Iris’s Axew. In America the event will be held at Toys ‘R Us on April 27th to correspond with a new TCG expansion releasing.
Anyone else think these 3 pokemon are NOT worth the gas it’d take to go to Toys ‘r Us? :p

Thought I’d point out that this Sunday’s ‘Foxtrot‘ comic (at least in America, don’t know where else it’s published besides online) had a mention of none other than GIGALITH. It’s always kind of amusing to me when other shows/comics/etc mention pokemon so I thought I’d pass it on. Foxtrot often mentions other gaming and tech-related stuff, including World of Warcraft, so I usually enjoy it :p
In his article he actually sourced Bulbagarden’s wiki page for Gigalith as well. I’m guessing Bulbanews has an article up about this already, I don’t know- haven’t checked my RSS feeds yet.
