Online Japanese retailer Raku-Ten has updated their release date for Black 2 and White 2 as June 23, 2012. This is likely the finalized release date and not typical online speculation.
As always, this date is subject to change and could be off slightly. Huge thanks to our translator NL for catching this.

A Japanese gaming site has posted that Creatures Inc. (Pokémon game development company) has posted a job listing for 3D CG Pokemon model and motion artist. This could mean that a 3DS game is in the planning stages. Of course, the game could be for the Wii or even Wii U as well.
Also: Famitsu thing was fake. Apparently some sites didn’t look into whether or not the info was real. NL had warned me from the outset, but I think I mentioned it in a “ps”.

This has surfaced on 2ch. The article alleges that there may be new gym leaders in the sequels to Black and White. Interesting… The article also teases us by asking if the region will still be Unova. The text around Snivy, Oshawott, and Tepig questions whether there are any more new Pokémon to be revealed.
Serebii says scan is legit, chastised me for for speculating about it :’( Can’t wait to see what kind of a game BW2 is

At the end of today’s Pokémon Smash episode, a short blurb was shown about a new project that would be announced on next week’s show! This could be game, merchandise, or TRETTA related… or something else entirely. The Japanese there says “Urgent new project announcement!”
Perhaps whatever it is will leak on 2ch this week, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled! I’d like to point out that all the pokemon in the background have had movies.
