Animated Pokémon Black 2 / White 2 Intro Movie (UPD2)

We saw a leaked screenshot yesterday and now today we have the entire movie leaked! The Japanese title is Black 2 / White 2 “introduction movie” so we’re unsure if this is simply a long commercial for the game or even what plays before the game starts. (UPD1) Officially released, 1080p video added. (UPD2) Updated with a subtitled version. Translated by our in-house translator Kriffix and hosted by our friend Zephyrsonic. Here’s some new information from it:

  • Though N looks older it is probably just the style. He’s saying lines from BW1 so it’s likely pre-timeskip.
  • You may receive your starter Pokémon outside your home from Bianca
  • Achroma states he doesn’t believe in the ideals of Team Plasma
  • Elesa has a new outfit and is still a Gym Leader
  • New Team Plasma outfits
  • Shadow Triad is back
  • Possibility of a town being frozen over

Pokémon Black 2 / White 2: “Aspertia City” + Pokédex Pro Screens

It’s not much, but the very first English city localization has come out: Hiougi City, the town where the adventure begins, is called Aspertia City in English! Since that is really very little news, here are the first English screens for Pokédex 3D Pro (coming to the 3DS Fall 2012):

“Pokémon AR Searcher” to be named Pokémon Dream Radar

The Official Nintendo Magazine [UK] has announced that the game called “Pokémon AR Searcher” in Japan will be released under the English name “Pokémon Dream Radar”, at least in the United Kingdom.  It will most likely be the global English title however. Its release date was also confirmed to be Autumn 2012 around the same time as Pokémon Black 2 / White 2 and Pokédex Pro.

Professor Burnett will task you with finding Pokémon in a place between the real world and the Pokémon world called “Dream Valley”. Sounds like a trip!

Plasma’s New Look LEAKED (UPD3)

Above is a screenshot from the Japanese Pokémon Company’s official YouTube account.  The video is private and not currently viewable, but the shots that YouTube takes from the video for thumbnails are still publicly available to those who know how to get them from private vids.

What do you think?! This is, of course, a shot from the anime but we could see a similar style in the new games as well. We’ve already seen them in their old outfits in Black 2 / White 2 so one has to wonder if there’s more to the plot or possibly a splinter faction within the team. After all,  CoroCoro refers to the ones in white as “former members”.

I didn’t do one for the original release of Black and White, but in order to stay competitive, and hopefully provide you more than just news, I’ve put up a screenshot page (for future reference the page is under Games -> Black 2 / White 2 -> Screenshots in the menu!).  This page does not *only*  contain the new screens from CoroCoro, but also all of them that have been released to date (close to 50).  I think you’ll find it much easier to look at than other sites which may just contain a link to the picture.
