The rare and elusive TCG post
Normally I don’t cover TCG news, so this is a special treat. I just wanted to post the first image of the Dragon-type energy symbol! And, if you didn’t know, Dragon-type is being added to the game :p This marks a major change in the card game which last added new types in the Gen II era; dark and steel. Image from PokeBeach (wonder if he’s still mad at me lol).

Europe Gets ‘Carnival’ PokeMusical
Europeans everywhere are rejoicing because of their new download available on the Global Link. The Pokemon Musical system, a much appreciated replacement for the archaic ‘Contests’ forced upon us in Generation III, have different songs available to “dance” to; this download is for the Pokemon Carnival song. The password is EUPGLMUSICAL11. WOW! I know many of you have been waiting for it after Japan and the US got it earlier this year.
Wait… hold on a second… my producer is telling me something. Oh. I’d like to apologize folks, apparently Musicals were not a great addition to Black and White and Contests were much better. Sorry about that

PJN in JPN: 2nd PokéCenter Pilgrammage
Because I live in Tokyo, I have the opportunity to go to the Pokémon Center whenever I want 
In my year (omg, it’s been a year?!) I’ve actually only gone twice though. I decided to do a feature on this second trip I did. I even bought something this time :p
As you can see, there is a lot of cute merchandise! Lots of new Christmas stuff as well. I took the Serebii plush pic for Joe :p The shirt there is a pretty kickass depiction of Kakuna and something I’d definitely be ok wearing. Sadly it’s over $50US 
I did however buy the phone strap (N) and a pencil case. Those two alone were $18…ouch. Early Xmas present for PJ!
I went there to waste time actually and arrived 10 before it actually opened. Definitely fun to sit next to a bunch of 6 year old children also waiting for the doors to open. >_____> Highly recommend a visit if you come to Japan (there are many locations across the country). Thought you guys would enjoy a couple pics

Victini & Pokemon the Movie
So, have you downloaded your Victini via WiFi yet? It’s now available for those in the United States, England and Australia! Exciting huh? We reported on this earlier, but now it’s finally live… and you guys probably needed a reminder. Ends December 31st, so I’d suggest getting it sooner rather than later. Comes with the moves V-Create, Fusion Bolt, and Fusion Flare! It’s lv50 and has a Fire Gem. In case you’re curious about it’s special move (previously unobtainable through normal gameplay) it has a base damage of 180, but lowers Victini’s Sp Def, Def, and Spd by one stage. Ouch.
The other topic we have today (which goes hand in hand with the download) is the movie premier! This weekend is the limited theatrical release of both the White and Black movies in the United States. Did anyone go? If you didn’t get a chance, the movie WILL be airing on Cartoon Network on December 10th.
