So There Has Been Absolutely No News Lately…

And I mean none. Not even the slightest bit. So, lets get some discussion going! :D

I got a few questions for you:
1.) What was your favorite moment of 2011? (Doesn’t have to be Pokemon related!)
2.) What are you looking forward to the most in 2012? (Again, doesn’t have to be Pokemon related!)
3.) Do you have any New Year resolutions?

It’s hard to choose just one, but one of my favorite moments of 2011 was seeing the Victini movie in theaters with all my fellow PokeFanatics! As for  for 2012, I’m looking forward to RSE remakes, Pokemon Grey, KH3D, Tales of the Abyss, Black Rock Shooter anime, and Avatar: Legend of Korra! (That last one especially) They’re all material things, I know…I’m a bit shallow. And New Year resolutions? I got none, ’cause I don’t have enough self control to keep away from food and the internet for more than a few minutes. :p

Oh, and thank you to all who wished me and the other staff members a Happy Holidays on our Facebook and Twitter pages!

P.S. In un-related news, for those who have a 3DS, the new Swap Note application can now be downloaded for free off the e-shop! If you haven’t already, go do it! It’s so addicting! PJ and I already spam each other with notes daily. xD

Jump Festa Reveals Brand New Game! [UPD2]

EXTRA, EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT! NEW GAME REVEALED AT JUMP FESTA!

The game is called Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition, and will be released in spring 2012 on the Nintendo DS! The game is a crossover of Pokemon and Nobunga’s Ambition (obviously) and for those who don’t know about Nobunga’s Ambition: It’s a turn-based RPG game set in feudal Japan, where the goal of the game is to become the ultimate warlord and take over Japan. Except in this game it’ll take place in the Ranse Region.

Basically, how I see it anyways, this game will take place in the past and feature the player trying to become the ultimate warlord of the Ranse Region with the help of their Pokemon. How this will translate in the game is beyond me. ‘Cause literally nothing else is known about the game. :p

UPD: Details have come in from the official site!

  • Just like in the main games yo can choose your gender, Eevee is your starter Pokemon
  • Oichi is the girl with the Jigglypuff, she’s your ally and helps you throughout the game
  • Nobunaga is the man with Zekrom as his partner and is the primary warlord
  • Shingen is the man with Groudon as his partner
  • Kenshin is the man with Mewtwo as his partner
  • Mitsuhude is the man with Articuno as his partner
The website says that new information will be added in January, so it’s probably the game that CoroCoro promised to reveal in their next issue. Anyways, click the spoilers below for the trailer and pictures! (click pictures to enlarge)

Passwords Galore!

“Galore” is a bit of an over-statement, but you get the point. :p

Over the past few days, a couple of passwords have been released for Rumble Blast and the Dream World! So here’s a quick list of them:

For the EU Dream World, the “Poison Touch Croagunk” and the Croagunk C-Gear skin are now available:

  • UK Dream World “Poison Touch Croagunk” – Code: CROACNintendoOfficial
  • UK Dream World Croagunk C-Gear skin – Code: CRONintendoOfficial
  • Germany Dream World “Poison Touch Croagunk” – Code: CROACNZONE
  • Germany Dream World Croagunk C-Gear skin – Code: CRONZONE

 

All the Croagunk Dream World events will start from November 16th onwards. As for Rumble Blast, several passwords have been released for US versions of the game:

  • Zoroark  | Strength: Aprox. 1100 | Ability: PokéTC | Moves: Foul Play | Password: 2153-6742
  • Audino | Strength: Aprox. 2100 | Ability: Mood Maker | Moves: Secret Power | Password: 0176-1458

Speaking of Rumble Blast, for those in Australia, the game will officially be released on December 8th under the title Super Pokemon Rumble. And, on top of all this the new Dream World area Rugged Mountain is officially live! So go enjoy some Pokemon! :D

Tornadus/Thundurus WiFi Event Announced!

For those who don’t know, the Pokemon anime will air specials featuring Tornadus and Thundurus, and to tie in with this, a Wifi event has been announced in Japan! This event will give you the legendary that you weren’t able to get in your game. If you have Black you’ll receive Thundurus, and if you’re playing White you’ll receive Tornadus. If you obtain both of these legendaries in one game you’ll be able to encounter and catch Landorus, so it’s a pretty dang good event if you haven’t got it in your Pokedex yet. ‘Cause seriously, roaming legendaries can be a total pain. :p The event will be active for all Japanese games from December 16th, 2011 until January 10th, 2012.

Distribution News for the Week

Pokemon Smash has just revealed the final details of the Japanese Mewtwo distrubition! The event Mewtwo’s moveset will be Psystrike, Aura Sphere, Shadow Ball and the newly revealed final move – Eletro Ball! Which is a move that Mewtwo can’t normally learn. (For full details of the Mewtwo distrubition click here)

In Global Link news, the Nintendo Power Banette that will soon be given away in the US and Japan for Halloween! This Banette will be level 37, have the ability Cursed Body and know Cotton Guard (a move it wouldn’t normally learn). To get this special Dream World Pokemon you’ll need a special serial code that is given in Nintendo Power (US) and Famitsu (JPN) magazines. Also, for those with European games, the Zoroark C-Gear skin has made it’s way across the pond! It’ll be available from now until March 29th and to get it you’ll need a password; EUPGLZOROARK11 if you haven’t already, go to the Global Link and get that C-Gear skin!
