Showdown: Villainous Teams — Round III: Plans

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

  • Version 1.1 of the games is now available for download in the Nintendo eShop! Requiring 539 Blocks, the patch fixes a number of bugs:
    • Fixes a bug where Ion Deluge doesn’t work
    • Fxes a bug where Wide Guard reduced damage from all Z-Moves instead of just Clangorous Scales
    • Fixes a bug where the first move is deleted if you teach a Pokémon with 3 or fewer moves a move at the Move Tutor
    • Fixes a bug where the game would periodically freeze shortly after selecting Litten as your Starter Pokémon
    • However, due to the changes all Battle Videos recorded before the patch will unfortunately not be accessible anymore
  • The second Global Mission has begun! This time around our goal is to collectively earn 1,000,000 Beach Points through Mantine Surf by Christmas day. If we succeed all participating players will receive 2,000 FC (4,000 FC if they have a Global Link account attached to their game) while a failure will result in a 1,000 FC reward (2,000 FC if connected to the Global Link)
    • The Global Mission goal has already been exceeded as of December 14th
  • The games will have a robust online maintenance on December 18th, 5:00pm-7:00pm PST

Pokkén Tournament DX

  • The Thunderclap Press Cup will be ongoing from December 22nd to December 31st! Participating players will receive a special title reward based on the Pikachu Libre fighter, gaining even more unique titles the higher they place in the Special Group Match

Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!

  • For those who didn’t catch the film in theaters or TV, or just want to rewatch the film, it is now available digitally on iTunes, Amazon, and the Google Play store to purchase or rent in the US and some parts of Europe. A physical release of the movie is set for next year

Great Detective Pikachu (Film & Game)

  • The Detective Pikachu film has been slated for a May 10th, 2019 release date
  • The Detective Pikachu game that was released exclusively to Japan last year has been given a PEGI 3 rating by the European Game Rating board. The rating release also came with an attached release date of December 31st, 2020, however this date is purely a place holder

Special Edition Pikachu 2DS XL

  • It has been confirmed that the special edition Pikachu 2DS XL that was released in Japan earlier this month will be available for purchase in Europe starting January 26th, 2018. No word on release in other regions

LINE

  • For those with the popular messaging app a new set of stickers from The Pokémon Company International are now available to purchase for $1.99//£1.49/¥240

Pokémon Trading Card Game

  • The upcoming TCG set will be called Ultra Prism and features over 150 new cards! This set will introduce the new Prism card which, when discarded or KO-ed, is transferred to the Lost Zone and can’t be recovered. As per official rules only one Prism card can be included in any given deck

Pokémon Duel

  • The Fairy Gym Cup has begun in game
  • Version 5.0.3 of the turn based mobile strategy game is now available! 247MB in size, the update brings new figures and plates, and is required to download in order to continue playing the game:
    • New UX Figure: Mega Scizor
    • New EX Figures: Scizor & Magearna
    • New R Figures: Mr. Mime & Metang
    • New UC Figures: Mime Jr., Beldum, & Togedemaru

Pokémon Shuffle

  • The new Chespin (Winking) stage is now available until December 19th
  • The Shiny Mega Diancie Escalation Battle stage has begun and is available until
  • The following stages have begun repeat runs until December 19th: Nihilego, Tornadus (Therian Form), Deoxys (Attack Form), and Delibird (Holiday)
  • With the latest update several new main stages have been added to the game
