Pokémon GO’s Solstice Event has officially begun!
From now until June 20th, Fire and Ice-Types will spawn more frequently to celebrate the beginning of Summer in the Western Hemisphere, and the start of Winter in the East! Log in and play to enjoy other benefits such as:
- Huge XP bonuses for curveballs, “nice”, “great”, and “excellent” throws
- Bonus XP for egg hatches
- 50% Lucky Eggs in the shop
We’re also expecting a shutdown of all the Gyms in preparation of the Gym Rework, that is heavily implied to drop at the end of this event, sometime during this time frame!
