Pokémon X & Y Coverage Day 3

Day three of our X & Y coverage starts here, below will be a compilation of all our discoveries and findings from the game, which will later be compiled into our latest project (stay tuned)! Cyllage City

  • Sachet (Y), Whipped Dream (X), HM04 Strength, X Sp. Atk, X Defense, TM44 Rest, TM88 Sleep Talk, Desting Knot, Snooke Ribbon, Prize Money O-Power and Persim Berries can be obtained
  • Dwebble can be found using Rock Smash
  • A Lady in the house beside the Pokemon Centre will give your Pokemon Massages
  • A man inside the Pokemon Centre will trade you a Steelix for a Luvdisc
  • The Bicycle shop will give you a free Bicycle after answering a couple of questions
  • Grant is the Gym Leader of the Cyllage City Gym, he uses a Tyrunt and Amaura, both at LV. 25. He awards you with the Cliff Badge and TM39 Rock Tomb

Route 10

  • Thunder Stone, X Accuracy, Mind Plate and Iapapa Berry can be obtained
  • Hawlucha, Eevee, Houndour, Nosepass, Electrike, Yanma, Golett, Emolga and Siglyph can be found
  • Yanma and Nosepass can be found in Horde Battles
  • TM73 Thunder Wave can be found

Connecting Cave

  • TM21 Frustration, TM40 Aerial Ace can be found

Geosenge Town

  • Speed Power O-Power, TM66 Payback, Soft Sand, Everstone and Timer Ball can be obtained
  • Leader Korrina challenges you to a battle, she uses two Lucario, both at LV. 25. She doesn’t give you anything. Her Gym being the next.

Route 11

  • TM69 Rock Polish, Thunder Stone, Hyper Potion, Super Potion and Sitrus Berry can be obtained
  • Nidoran (Male/Female), Staravia, Stunky, Chingling, Nidorino, Nidorina, Hariyama, Throh and Sawk can be found
  • Nidoran (Male.Female) and Stunky can be found in Horde Battles

Reflection Cave

  • TM70 Flash, TM74 Gyro Ball, Iron, Hyper Potion, Escape Rope, Black Belt, Earth Plate, Moon Stone and Nest Ball can be obtained
  • Solosis, Chingling, Roggenrola, Mime Jr., Mr. Mime, Wobbuffet, Swoobat (drop), Ferroseed (drop), Carbink and Sableye can be found
  • Roggenrola and Mime Jr. can be found in Horde Battles

Shalour City

  • Eviolite, Max Ether and Soothe Bell can be obtained
  • If you have raised your Pokémon well enough you can receive a Footprint Ribbon
  • If you have a Psychic or Flying type Pokémon in your party you can help a woman who will award you with Stardusts
  • You can trade a Sitrus Berry for a Leppa Berry
  • Tierno gives you the ‘Intriguing Stone’
  • Korrina is the Gym Leader of Shalour City, she uses Mienfoo Lv. 29, Machoke Lv. 28 and a Hawlucha Lv. 32. If you defeat her she will award you the Rumble Badge and TM98 Power-Up Punch.
  • HM03 Surf can be obtained

Tower of Mastery

  • Player receives the Mega Ring
  • TM47 Low Sweep
  • Player can choose to receive a Lucario holding a Lucarionite.

Route 12

  • Player can receive Lapras
  • Tauros, Heracross, Wingull, Chatot, Tauros, Pachirisu, Mareep, Exeggcute and Slowpoke can be found in the wild
  • Wingull and Mareep can be found in Horde Battles
  • TM45 Attract, Shiny Stone, Sachet (Y), Whipped Dream (X), Leftovers, Aspear Berry and Honey can be found

NLque tidbits

[spoiler]

  • The only jaw moves Tyrantrum has learned so far is Crunch and Bite 🙁
  • Safari seems to have higher chance of getting an IV of 31( you can also use whatever ball you like, not those Safari Balls!)
  • New hold item that raises Special Defense but makes you unable to use status moves
  • New hold item that immunizes against weather damage and powder moves
  • New item that looks like you can convert their Ability to a Dream Ability if they have two abilities to begin with (so if you had one ability and a dream ability, you probably couldn’t do it)
  • NPC told me you can get a PokéRadar from Sycamore, haven’t gone to him yet though
  • Super Rod on Route 16
