Ooka of PokéBasic.com (I want their layout) gladly volunteered his time to work on a new layout for the site and I just put it up today~ Was done in January or so, but because I was apprehensive to cut the graphics all up and put it into WordPress’s theme engine I waited. Luckily I decided to get a few things done today and this was on the top of my list ;D

Kudos on the new layout. I absolutely adore the design.
Wow. I’m speechless. This new layour is really amazing! Remember Pokemon 4Ever movie? It kind of reminds me of it. Maybe it’s the forest… I like it, I really do.
To be honest I preferred the previous one, it had a distinct signature feel to it. :/
This one could do with a slight change in the header though, a banner of 471 KB isn’t good, even for broadband users. It’d be better as a JPG in that regard.
I got bored of the last one though and it was almost as bad as Serebii’s layout xP
Point taken about the banner though, cut it down to a 58kb jpg
change isn’t bad, it just seemed more memorable to me :]

I love Serebii’s layout! I think it’s awesome.
But about this, I like it overall, but it looks wierd in my opinion. (Having anime people walk in a real-world-looking forest)

I love it, very well put together- also enjoyable to look at.
I like it, but it’s really wide. o_O Before everything was close together and more cozy…
I had it designed this way because I wanted more space :p
Makes sense, but I kinda liked the cozy small space…I dunno, I’ll get used to it. ^_^
Put a gracedia flower behind the poke in pokejungle and it will be much clearer and even more foresty OwO! Like it a lot! Cause Black and White are truly one of my favorite pokemon stories as of yet.

I’m using a netbook (1024 x 600 resolution) and it stretches my screen a little bit. I don’t normally use such a small screen, but maybe that’s something you might want to be aware of, since it might be a bigger problem for other users of your site.

PJ you’ll want to get the banner and content area shortened to 1023px at the most;1024×600 is still somewhat-common I think, and that’s the maximum size you can make it without stretching their page. 800×600 people can go upgrade their computers. xD
Definite +1 from me to this layout, though! The banner is beautiful. :] My crits are that the menu is a bit hard to read, and the grey is a tiny bit dark as well (though that one’s just preference). I suggest changing the menu text to a pale limey green.

well, yea, sunflora are yellow flowers but where the face should be is still the same shade of yellow as the petals, as sunflora have dull yellow faces and bright yellow petals. as for lileep…

if a ursaring has:
1 swords dance boost
maxed out attack
and guts in effect,how much damage would a facade attack do(including STAB)?
idk how to figure it out,and idk how to use a damage calculator,so i figured i would ask,because im training my adament ursaring,and decided to use this combo.please let me know people

Love it. Pinwheel Forest has to be my favorite forest out of all the regions. It has a fun name and doesn’t sound cheap like being named after the city closest to it. In-game and in the anime it looked very unique compared to the other forests. Great work.
The minimalist Snivy theme was easily the best design og any pokemon site. But thats personal preference I suppose

I was just about to call you a hater, but I’m honestly surprised. You dislike Iris and Cilan but not Ash? You certainly made my day.
I have personally always loved Ash’s character, I’ve just never been too particularly fond of his traveling companions for some reason. The designs just seem to get sillier and sillier to me.
I feel the same. Ash is a pretty cool character, despite his flaws. But, come on, he is a kid and he doesn’t do anything that bad. I dislike his female companions the most, though. Misty is a mean female dog, May and Dawn are about on the same level as Miley Cyrus and Iris is like the bad mixture of Gary Oak and Misty. =_=
