Looks like those of you who were not happy about the recently revealed ‘ice cream cone’ pokemon may cheer about these new ice types.

ps- About time for me to sleep. My new laptop should be back on Wednesday at the latest!! It was in for repairs after a surge KILLED it. I only had about an hour and a half to play with it before it died ;_; I’m so excited to get it back.

I like it. It’s design is simple and thats usually a good thing. But it has an obscenely placed tuft of hair like Reshiram…

Im not crazy for this design I have to say
the ice on its chin is abit unessasary, but anything beats that hidious orange lizard thing so yeah

looks like empoleon vs polar bear will be evenly matched as steel beats ice but fighting beats steel.
looks like this pokemon will do damage to ice based teams that don’t have psychic type attacks.
BUUUUUUUT where is the polar bear going to live, as it is a semi aquatic animal, if you say the mountains, you have to say which mountains, so the only area that i can of is in the proximity of the ice dragon
You got something wrong… this bear is not Ice/Fighting, it is just Ice type… unfortunately
Shame it’s not part fighting, would have fit easily enough.
No new type combinations for ice this gen.

I totally agree with you. First Mijumaru was supposed to be Water/Fighting and that was proven false and now this bear. What a shame!
Gamefreak will probably add a fighting-type to Futachimaru’s evolution. Gamefreak can put two fighting-type starters in the game what ever they want.
Of course that they can make two fighting starters in one generation, but have you seen final Mijumaru evo… I sincerely doubt that it going to be part fighting
I don’t mind Tsutarja’s final evo being pure-Grass, just because Mijumaru’s final evo is quadruped doesn’t mean its not going to be a fighting-type.
I kinda wish it was a quadruped and didn’t have “Reshiram fuzz” but other then that it’s really awesome! I like the eyes

The only possible way it is a mistake is if pxp got the descriptions in a different language (say, english, given the word ‘snout’) mistranslated it (read ‘snot’) then REtranslated it (back to us as ‘snot’)

aww, i thought that it was an anteater, not a polar bear, but polar bear is good too. Why is melkor revealing the legendary trio so soon? shouldnt he reveal other stuff? like the aliens, or fire bugs, or the anteater?
On Melkor’s twitter, all he put for the legendary trio was “A gift: *insert link here*”
So he’s showing us the silhouettes early.
Well, I love the polar bear thingy, and I think the legends will be Rock/Fighting-Steel/Fighting-Grass/Fighting, like that Legendary Trio Serebii anounced. But I was thinking, how do you know Pokexperto is right???

What? The Polar Bear? I’d say wait until the official artwork, the fan work can come off as a little ‘flat’ and not as well shaded as official art for obvious reasons.

Wasn’t there meant to be abull ooking part of this trio? I guess thats the middle one. As far as I know, the other two are meant to look horse like, like the Water/Fighting Trio leader.
I like how few legendaries there are in comparison to Gen 4′s amount, but yet we stil have a nice bunch to capture. Gen 4′s dex was made up of 14 legendaries, which made 13ish% of the new pokemon introduced. As for Gen 5 however, we have 156 Pokemon introduced, and 13 legendaries, which makes around 8% of the Dex. (coincidentally, Gen 3 had just over 7%)
