Isshu as good as confirmed to be New York

Hey guys, Kriffix here.
Thanks to Ozy for passing this on to me.
This is the PokemonPia Magazine that will give people the chance to catch one of the original 3 starters with alternate abilities. Now that we can see the cover in higher quality, it is now possible to make out that it says “The adventure’s setting is New York!?” which suggests that on the inside there will be more details upon purchasing and reading.
Though the “?” means that its not stated explicitly, being an official magazine this makes it as good as confirmed. Can you honestly see it going any other way if this is on the front?
This comes as no shock, many of us were able to figure it out ages ago!

I think the magazine is talking about the REAL New York, in any moment Isshu is cited, problably the starters event will occur in New York and its all.

Tbh I think this should be taken down before the debate that has like 80 pages on Pokecommunity and probably else where comes here o_o.
It’s probably the magazine’s choice to say that, rather then it being officially from Game Freak.
In fact I am kind of surprised PokeJungle posted this at all :/ Things like this are never truly confirmed and just cause arguments, it’s pointless.
if you go to google maps the west side of isshu is maryland, the middle is delaware and the right side is new jersey. it looks exactly like isshu
The evidence was so overwhelming and people still wanting to debate it being Shanghai is ridiculous. Nice to have some confirmation for them to cry some more about.

It’s nice to see it’s all but confirmed. I was pretty sure it was supposed to be New York anyways, so I’m not all that surprised.
I too am curious why a Torchic silhouette is there. Another dream world Pokemon with new abilities along with the Kanto starters would seem most likely.
