New Pokemon Revealed?

gigaiasu iffy 300x224 New Pokemon Revealed? This image has now surfaced from the demo~ From anonymous comment on spmb.

We have what COULD BE (ie: this picture’s authenticity has not been confirmed) a new pokemon which appears to be related to Gigaiasu.  Its name is ‘Wakoishi’.  *If any of you are curious “koishi” means ‘pebble’ so that is probably what its derived from.

Check back for more updates as we try to figure out whether or not this is completely authentic.  Thanks for the tip off in chat :]

  2. The placing of Tsutaja’s lifebar is a bit oblique. I’m not sure if it’s real or not, but I like it!

    • What’s weird is that it is parallel to the straight dialog text on the bottom, while the other lifebar is parallel to the top. So it could be a weird angle, even though it definitely DOES look crooked.

    • I think it’s the camera since it’s at an angle, but I really want this guy to be real since Gigaiasu may be obtainable early!! :)

    • It’s simply a matter of perspective.

    • They’re encountering wild pokemon at varying levels. It seems the starters are all @ lv25 though

      • I noticed the starters are all level 25 indicating you can get these probably where you battle your rival like they showed in that clip on pokemon sunday

  7. Looks like the hp is accurate for Tsutarja’s level, and it takes place in a cave this time which makes sense, btw this looks like the same cave in one of the images koromori was shown in, but with hp bars and text and proper camera view. Name also has stone/rock in it too, so it’s probably gigaiasu’s pre-evo.

  14. at first I didn’t like the look of him, very similar to a Paper Mario enemy, but now I’ve grown to it. Hopefully its part of a 3 stage line, with the final being Rocl/Dark, like was rumoured for Giga.

  19. I wonder if you can evolve your Pokemon in the demo. The starters seem to be a high enough level but I guess they may have programmed it to prevent that.

    • They must :s I thought maybe they turned of exp gain or something, but we do see that the tsutaja has its exp bar partially filled >>; Maybe a level 25 pokemon can’t amass enough xp to level up from battling lv12-ish pokemon during the 15min demo time limit.

      • Yeah that would make sense. If it were me I’d probably vs the two rivals and then battle some wild Pokemon in a desperate attempt to rack up experience :/

  21. Hey since they are obviously watchin digimon alot because of the head pre-evos……… maybe the new egg thing will be the egg sprite does match the pokemon they hatch into, BUT they are kept in this egg nursery thing like on digimon lol just a thought… but as for hatching them…. maybe certain types happen to hatch in certain seasons and at certain times of day…. just a thought

  22. *drools* i needs to get me one, i like it and it seems very authentic so far, much more so than Basurao and “Venuhoot” (lolz) i hope its part of a 3-chain evo and from the look of gigaisu it would totally pown if its last evo would be Dragon/Rock or Rock/Dark heck ill even take Rock/Poison =]

  24. It is so cute! Although I wished that the final Gigaiasu was rock/poison or rock/electric (seeing as there are levitating rocks in the cave shot we’ve seen in the past, like magnetism).
