FAKE CoroCoro Scan

My good friend Kriffix has a large amount of evidence to show that this fellow above is indeed fake.
Here’s what he said: “The above Pokemon “Zennuki” is supposed to be based on a Tanuki (a racoon dog) which is a big part of Japanese mythology. They are known to be tricksters and use their testicles as weapons as can be seen this this famous Ghibli movie Pom Poko (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4_Nmco2dtE). I however regret to inform you that this above Pokemon is fake. The poster on 4ch says he found it on 2ch. I have searched all recent posts and have been unable to find his source. Bummer guys, it seems that the Tanuki is fake. 
Aw well, stick around and hopefully the full scans will leak soon.

It probably fake, I’m not sure
Fake methinks.. If you enlarge the picture, you can see the light blue pokeballs overlap the top left screenshot (which is no relation to the pokemon? looks like the munna evo thing?). Also the style of the background seems slightly different to the previous scans. :/

I was anticipating a Tanuki pokemon since i heard about Zoroark. It’d complete the famous “Fox and tanuki” duo.
I’ll look into this to find out if its real. Until then it may be wise to think otherwise.
Personally i’m thinking not at the moment.

No, nor am I 100% sure. I’m just reporting the facts.
The fact is the guy who posted and what he says doesn’t quite match up.
He could have got it from a blog, but then i’m wondering why he said he found it on 2ch.
I’m still looking into it, nothings 100% yet.
I hope its real. It looks really cool.

As i’m sure many of you familiar with Japanese mythology already know. Tanuki (what this pokemon is based on) are tricksters and use their testicles as weapons.

Look at the font for the name. The “n” and “nu” is extremely off compared to the usual font, as it’s much sharper. In other scans I’ve seen, everything has their typical curves.
Also, I agree about the background. As someone pointed out earlier, the blue Poke Ball background just seems off.

There’s no way it’s done (in my opinion). Last month it was 18 freaking pages long. So far all we have is one page and a few parts from another, not even the whole page.
Last month’s corocoro had 18 pages???
What pokemon and info did it reveal again, that took 18 pages?

LOL wow, I just yesterday drew some fakemon starters, and the grass type was this big fat tanuki with a leaf on its head. So I saw this and was like, “WTF? Did someone take mine and make it blue?” XD
